Former Presidential spokesperson, Reno Omokri has reacted to a tweet credited to Governor Nasir El-Rufai in which he called Peter Obi a ‘bigot’.

Recall that Governor El-Rufai described Peter Obi, as a tribal bigot, stressing that voting Atiku and Obi into power will bring about division in the country. His tweet read;

“Peter Obi is a tribal bigot. He was widely quoted on national television that the SSS was right to detain me for 48 hours in an hotel in 2014 on the grounds that ”El-Rufai has no business being in Anambra State as it is not Katsina State!”

However reacting to this, Reno Omokri disclosed that the Kaduna State Governor had sometime in 2011 described Southern women as ‘whores’.

He wrote: “In 2011 El-rufai forwarded me an email calling Southern women ‘whores’ and he wrote ‘so true!’ In case he tries to deny, I STILL HAVE THE EMAIL.

“I protected El-rufai all these years, but chose to expose him to Nigerians after he called Peter Obi a tribal bigot.”

Once again I dare @elrufai to deny he forwarded me an email calling Southern women ‘whores’ and responded by saying ‘so true!’. If he denies, I‘ll immediately make the email available to newsmen. Elrufai is very notorious for challenging falsehoods. Let him deny this

He also wrote;

@elrufai, just as your name consists of the same letters that spell failure, so will this your latest lie against @PeterGregoryObi end up in failure. You that are presenting a Muslim-Muslim ticket in a religiously sensitive state like Kaduna have the guts to call Obi a bigot
